Research before publication

We start with a specific reader decision. We prefer regulators, government scheme documentation, manufacturers and supplier terms. Secondary reporting can add context but does not replace primary specifications.

Review and attribution

A named author, publication date, update date, data verification date and supporting sources are required before an article can be published. We distinguish measured data, calculations, estimates and opinion.

We do not publish fake reviews, fabricated experience, invented ratings or AI-generated specifications as fact. Assisted drafting requires human factual and editorial review.

Use of AI and editorial responsibility

AI has assisted with drafting our guides, checking references and developing and refining the calculation tools. AI output is not a source of authority: factual claims must be checked against the original sources, and calculations must be validated. Human factual and editorial review is required for publication and substantive updates.

Commercial independence

Payment must not determine the outcome of our matching score. Sponsored or affiliate content will carry a visible disclosure close to the relevant recommendation.

Updates and corrections

Tariff validity, scheme changes and manufacturer revisions trigger review. A correction should identify the page, the incorrect claim and a primary source. Material corrections should be recorded with the date and impact on any calculation. Use the contact page for the current reporting channel.
